Semi-float trap - Installation
1. The dirt in the pipeline must be eliminated before installation.
2. The trap must be installed at a lower point than the steam outlet and is easy to inspect and repair. If installed at a position higher than the drain point, a lifting joint is required.
3. The trap should be installed horizontally, and the arrow of the inlet and outlet should be consistent with the flow direction of the drain.
4. The shut-off valve should be installed before the trap and connected to the bypass valve. The height should not be lower than the trap. If several traps are connected to the same return pipe, a check valve should be installed at each trap outlet.
5. It is not advisable to use the same steam trap for several steam equipments, that is, a steam trap should be installed in one steam equipment.
