Application Guide Of Float Ball

The float switch is adapted to control the operation of the pump to maintain the liquid level; to control the automatic loading and unloading of the tank; to control the liquid level or supply signals, such as a fuel tank, an automatic cleaning system, a hydraulic tank, a low pressure boiler, and a sewage treatment system.


The small float level switch is a simple and easy to use liquid level control part. It has no complicated circuit and will not be disturbed.


Any liquid, pressure or temperature can be used as long as the material is selected correctly.
The relationship between the properties of the liquid medium and the float:


1. When the specific gravity of the liquid is different, the action position of the float ball will change. Generally, when the SG is smaller than the water, the portion of the float ball immersed in the liquid will increase relatively.


2. The reference weight of the float switch product is water (SG=1). Therefore, when using the float ball, the proportion SG of the liquid level must be considered, which must be greater than the float ball size.
Otherwise, the float switch cannot float.


3. For liquids with high viscosity and not dry, generally use a float ball with a large outer diameter.


4. The float switch uses a magnet to sense the reed switch, so the measured liquid level should be free of iron filings, otherwise it will affect the movement of the floating team switch.
